A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Beautiful Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Cufflinks and Tie Bar / Tie Clip set with brilliant sapphire blue faceted glass stones. The Cufflinks and tie clip are set with large oval faceted glass stones in Modernist gold tone metal settings. The set includes two "wrap-a-round" cufflinks, that is they have a band of metal mesh that wraps around the side of the cuff. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The tie bar has a strong clip on back to secure it to the tie. The pieces are unmarked but quite well made!
A great vintage men's accessory set in excellent vintage condition! The cufflinks are a large size, measuring just over 7/8" in length. The tie clip measures just over 1-1/2" in length making it perfect for those Mad Men era skinny neckties!
